Certified OR Tech/Surgical Tech (CST)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified OR Tech/Surgical Tech (CST) to join our Surgical Services team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the operating room team, providing essential support and ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring all are sterile and ready for use.
• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of various surgical procedures, including but not limited to ortho (totals, spine, & trauma), urology, GYN, uro-GYN, vascular, general, neuro spine, and some ENT.
• Demonstrate proficiency with the Da-Vinci XI Robot and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
• Adhere to all surgical protocols and safety procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active certification as an OR Tech or Surgical Tech (CST).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Confidence and expertise in various surgical specialties.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• On-call availability required, with an average of one weekday and one weekend day every six weeks.

Schedule

This position requires block scheduling with a day shift consisting of three 12-hour shifts, from 07:00 to 19:00.
