CVOR Tech

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician to join our surgical team. This position requires a commitment to work during the Christmas week, along with rotational on-call duties.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardiovascular and general surgical procedures, providing technical support and ensuring optimal patient care.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and sterility protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to ensure efficient operating room procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions during surgical interventions.

Schedule:

• Shift: Day – 10 hours (05:30 – 16:00)
• On-call requirement is 2-3 calls per week, and at least 1 weekend per month.
• Off days will vary throughout the week.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CVOR Tech.
• National certification required (NBSTSA or TS-C); NCCT certification is not accepted.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Experience in scrub duties for adults, adolescents, and geriatric patients, particularly in cardiovascular procedures is preferred.
• Scrub experience is mandatory.

Additional Information:

• This position will not require floating to other facilities.
• Locals within the same area are accepted.
• Free parking is available at the facility.
• Charting will be conducted using Cerner.
