Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a qualified Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and be committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Operate imaging equipment including Siemens Artis-Q machines and utilize PURE Software.
• Administer common drips such as Heparin infused Saline.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of Radiologic Technologists and RNs, maintaining an ideal case ratio of 3 to 4 per case.
• Participate in floating duties, potentially assisting in C-Arm use during OR/ENDO procedures.

Schedule

• 4×10 hour shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM.
• Evening call from 5 PM to 7 PM required.
• Weekend call from 7 AM to 7 PM on a rotating schedule every fourth weekend, with potential adjustments based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid New York State Radiologic Technology License.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; 2 years preferred.

Patient Care

This role focuses on adult patients aged 18 and older, ensuring all procedures are carried out with the utmost respect and care for patient’s needs and comfort.

Technology Expertise

Familiarity with EMR and healthcare technologies such as EPIC, Omnicell, and PACS is essential for this position.
