Operating Room Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures, particularly in orthopedic surgeries and total joint replacements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment.
• Provide support during surgical procedures, ensuring necessary instruments and supplies are available.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Implement and support the new Davinci robotics program in the operating room.

Qualifications

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Experience and skills in orthopedic procedures, with a strong background in total joint replacements.
• Prior experience with Davinci robotics is required.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation, as public transportation options are limited.

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility, including the ability to work day and evening shifts, totaling 40 hours per week. Orientation will be conducted on a biweekly basis, and schedule requests will be subject to manager approval.
