Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

An opportunity is available for a Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. The RN will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care provided to patients in need of telemetry services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients requiring medical and surgical telemetry monitoring.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry readings to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and treatments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry nursing.
• Active and unrestricted Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current certifications in AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a day shift schedule, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
