Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This is an opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing. The position offers the chance to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing critical care to pediatric patients.

Job Details

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shifts, 4×12 hour blocks (19:00 – 07:00)
• Schedule Requirements:
  • Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays.
  • 3 weekends per six-week schedule.
• Floating: May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics depending on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus.
• Registered Nurse licensure in Virginia or pending licensure accepted.
• Approval for up to 40 hours of time off; however, time off is not approved during the first two weeks of the contract.
