Job Overview

This position entails working as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the safe administration of radiopharmaceuticals, and adhering to strict regulatory standards.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No holidays, no call, no weekends

Qualifications

• CNMT Certification: Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
• ARRT Certification: ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine, which may be accepted in lieu of CNMT.
• State License: Valid license to practice nuclear medicine from the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
• Life Support: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Additional Requirements: NIH Stroke Certification and compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations are often needed.
