ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our Comprehensive Liver Care Unit. This role is essential in providing high-quality, specialized nursing care to patients with liver-related conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a background in liver care and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, critical care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU setting, focusing on liver transplant and related conditions.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions based on clinical guidelines.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on liver health, treatment options, and post-transplant care.
• Utilize Epic software for documentation and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Participate in continuous education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge in liver care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in ICU nursing, with specific expertise in liver care or organ transplantation preferred.
• Proficient in using Epic electronic health record tools.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts on a 3×12-hour schedule.

Shift Details

This position is for night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts each week (19:00 – 07:00). There are no block schedules available.
