Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong surgical skills, including circulating and scrub experience, to support our diverse surgical procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Perform circulating and scrub nurse duties during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe practices.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care as needed, including in the pre-op and PACU areas.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Operating Room.
• Strong experience will be considered for first-time travelers.
• BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including 2×8 and 2×12 hour days.
• Willingness to float within the specialty and perform pre-op/PACU duties as needed.
• Ability to commit to at least one weekend per month, including on-call duties.

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week with rotating shifts.
• Shifts will include 8 and 12-hour days from 07:00 to 19:30.
• Required to participate in holiday shifts as scheduled.
