Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• 1st time travelers accepted
• IV Start, Triage, and Telemetry skills required
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB

Job Details

• Patient Ratios: 1:3-5
• Approximate Visits per Day: 250
• Bed Capacity: 101
• Minimum contract length: 13 weeks or more
• Weekly Hours: 36-48 hours can be offered
• Shift: 12 Hour MIDS (11:00 – 23:00)
• Floating required between Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health based on patient needs.
• Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 4 weekend days per 6-week timeframe, potential for every other weekend.

• SBAR
• Daily shift huddles

Patient Population

This role involves caring for a diverse patient population in a regional referral and tertiary care center.

Orientation and Dress Code

• Unit Orientation: 24 hours
• Scrubs: Navy/White

Additional Requirements

The selected candidate must pass EKG testing prior to starting in this specialty.
