Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• First-time traveler experience is welcome
• IV Start, Triage, and Telemetry skills required
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB

Job Details

• Patient-to-nurse ratios: 1:3-5
• Daily Visits: 250
• Unit Capacity: 101 Beds
• Contract length: 13 weeks or longer
• Hours per week: 36-48 hours available
• Shift: 12-hour MID shifts (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
• Floating required between Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health
• Weekend commitment: minimum of 4 days per 6-week schedule, with potential every other weekend

Orientation and Training

A 24-hour orientation will be provided to ensure a comprehensive understanding of unit operations and protocols.

Unit Systems

Familiarity with the following systems is beneficial: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR, and participation in daily shift huddles.

Scrubs

Employees are required to wear navy and white scrubs.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must pass EKG Testing prior to commencement of the position.
