Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our progressive care unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Experience Required: 2 years in a PCU or similar setting
• Shift: Day shift; three 12-hour shifts per week (07:00 – 19:30)
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 to 5:1, up to 6:1

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the progressive care unit, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing compassionate and comprehensive patient care
• Monitoring patient progress and health statuses
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educating patients and their families on care plans and health management
