Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Nights with call options available during low census periods.

Minimum Experience Required

A minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience is required.

Certifications

All candidates must hold the following general certifications:

• ACLS
• BLS/BCLS
• PALS

Job Description

This position involves working as a Night Shift RN in Telemetry/Med-Surg from 7 PM to 7 AM with set schedules. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry, with preference given to those with step-down experience.

Equipment Knowledge

The following equipment will be utilized in this role:

• EMR: Meditech
• Pumps: Alaris
• Meds: Omnicell

Patient Ratios

The patient care ratios are as follows:

• Med-Surg/Observational: 1:6
• Step Down: 1:4

Additional Information

• Cancellations may occur up to 3 times during the contract period.
• Holiday coverage is required.
