Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position requires working night shifts and providing care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care and possess strong clinical skills.

Shift Details

• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: 1:6

Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the PCU will:

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Support and educate patients and their families regarding health management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.
• Current PA or compact nursing license must be held at the time of submission.
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Open to first-time applicants.

Additional Information

All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application. Approval will be based on unit needs. Managers may approve accommodation requests for block schedules as needed.
