Operating Room (OR) Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Operating Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in perioperative nursing and be dedicated to providing exceptional care in the surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team in preparing for and conducting surgeries.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Ensure adherence to infection control policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to 4 ten-hour shifts per week.

Work Environment

The role is primarily based in the operating room and involves working alongside surgical teams in a sterile environment.
