Registered Nurse (RN)

This position requires a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with various surgical procedures across multiple specialties including Gynecology, General, Urology, Robotics, Oncology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastic, and Interventional Pulmonology.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all necessary instruments and equipment are prepared for surgery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call duties, short call, weekend call, and night call as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Current MA RN license (candidates may apply at the time of the offer).
• Temporary and permanent RN application required.
• CPR certification from AHA.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Basic computer literacy with a familiarity of web-based applications.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is required, with proficiency in Epic preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a teaching hospital.
• Specialty area expertise is a plus.

Additional Information:

All candidates must have COVID and flu vaccinations, with medical exemptions considered. Scrubbing experience is mandatory, and local travelers will not be accepted (candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the location).

Orientation takes place weekly, every Monday barring holidays, with interviews and offers conducted by the hiring manager. It is important for applicants to present all requests for time off at the time of submission. Candidates who have previously worked as permanent or per diem staff within the last year will not be accepted unless separated from the organization for one year.
