Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior travel experience required. This role includes working night shifts and different nursing responsibilities within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Shift Information

• Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• No on-call requirement

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a diverse population, including patients undergoing orthopedic and medical surgical treatments.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate care plans.
• Deliver telemetry monitoring as needed for patients.
• Participate in charge RN shifts as required.
• Float to different units as needed for support.
• Facilitate patient rehabilitation in the on-unit physical therapy gym.

Patient Population

The unit accommodates a range of patient populations:

• High volume: Patients who have undergone total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
• Moderate volume: Patients requiring care for other surgical procedures, as well as inpatient and 24-hour observation medical patients.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Charge RN experience is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with prior travel experience.
