Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surgical, Cardiology unit. This position involves caring for patients in a stepdown environment, focusing on cardiac care. The ideal candidate will possess critical care experience and a strong understanding of cardiology protocols.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights or Rotating Shifts
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) or straight weekends
- Holidays: Every other holiday
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a critical care or cardiology setting.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Current ACLS Certification.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
Additional Requirements
Candidates must be willing to float between units based on patient care needs. A strong background in cardiac nursing is essential for successful candidates.
