ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Details:

• Start Date: 11/9 or 11/16
• Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Precepting: Candidates will be required to precept new staff.

Job Overview:

The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) may occasionally be assigned to the Medical-Surgical (MS) unit during times of low ICU census. Candidates should have a solid background in critical care and be able to manage a variety of patient scenarios.

Common Patient Diagnoses:

• Sepsis
• Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
• Respiratory Distress
• Atrial Fibrillation (Afib)

Qualifications:

• 3 years of nursing experience required.
• Strong patient care experience in Critical Care, Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Medical-Surgical.
• Experience with Emergency Department (ED) nursing is highly preferred.
• Candidates with experience in a small 3-bed ICU with low acuity or strong Medical-Surgical experience are preferred.
