Registered Respiratory Therapist – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (RRT-NICU)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical respiratory care services to infants in the NICU/PICU environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care and diagnostic services to patients in the NICU/PICU setting.
• Monitor patients and assess their respiratory needs through evaluations and interventions.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and equipment to manage respiratory conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with standards.

Qualifications

• Current RRT certification and licensure in the relevant state.
• Previous experience in a NICU or PICU setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of respiratory therapies and modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Working knowledge of EPIC software preferred.

Shift Information

This position requires night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, with hours from 19:00 to 07:00.
