Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia as needed.
• Assist with case preparations and ensure proper setup of equipment and instruments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, recovery, and aftercare.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education.
• Float to other areas within the specialty as needed to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with strong background in Interventional Radiology and ICU.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH and CPI certifications preferred.
• Ability to work rotating day shifts (4×10 hour shifts).
• Availability to participate in holidays, weekends, and floating as required by the department.

Work Environment

The role involves working in an Interventional Radiology unit with an average daily case volume of 18, caring for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric populations. The position requires versatility and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Please note that local candidates may be accepted at a reduced local travel rate. The contract length for this position is 13 weeks, with a start date of November 9, 2026.
