Pediatrics Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pediatrics Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a general pediatrics area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and be prepared to support patients and families in a compassionate and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in the general pediatrics unit.
• Float to related pediatric areas as needed, including CACU, TSU, Aflac (pediatric oncology), and CIRU specialties.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and procedures while providing care.
• Participate in professional development and continuing education to enhance skills.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience required.
• Certifications: Current BLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Skills: Strong clinical skills in pediatric nursing and the ability to float to various specialties.
• Availability: Must be willing to work weekends and holidays; minimal to no requests for time off (RTO) will be accepted.

Work Schedule

This position requires the ability to work night shifts (3×12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00).

Additional Information

This assignment offers the possibility of extension based on performance and facility needs. Candidates should be prepared for flexibility in their work assignments, including floating to sister locations as necessary within a 12-mile radius.
