Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This position offers a 36-hour work week with guaranteed hours and the opportunity to float to various departments including the Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit based on competencies and comfort level.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor fetal health and manage pain during labor.
• Care for stable infants and assist in the stabilization of sick infants.
• Participate in patient education and advocacy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• STABLE certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of operations within the Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, and Postpartum units.

Shift Details

This position requires working 3 twelve-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
