IMC Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced IMC Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift role. The desired candidate will bring their expertise to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC).
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Oversee and manage patient medication administration and treatments.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures while maintaining a safe patient environment.
• Participate in unit activities and contribute to improving patient care standards.
• Float to Telemetry and/or Medical-Surgical units as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess active ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in PCU, IMC, or Stepdown settings.
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment is required.
• Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam is mandatory, with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Availability for every other weekend coverage based on operational needs.

Shift Details

• 3×12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15.
• IMC nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.
• Float ratios in Tele and Medical-Surgical units are 1:5 or 1:6.

• All employees are required to have the flu vaccine.
