CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team for a day shift position. This role requires expertise in open heart and vascular procedures, providing high-quality care to patients throughout their surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and post-operative instructions.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in CVOR with a focus on open heart and vascular procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Readiness to float to other units as required due to patient census needs.

Work Schedule

This position is a part of a 4×10-hour shift schedule from 06:45 to 17:15.

This position is open to local candidates as well as first-time travelers. The on-call requirements and specifics regarding floating will be discussed during the phone interview.
