Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment on the night shift. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a dynamic, full-spectrum Emergency Department (ED) that serves patients of all ages and includes a locked behavioral health unit.

Position Details

• Shift: Night (4×12 hours)
• Hours: 7 PM to 7 AM with a 30-minute lunch break
• Duration: 8-week assignment starting ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Work effectively with a diverse patient population, including both adults and occasional pediatric patients.
• Utilize behavioral health knowledge to support patients in the locked unit.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts or eligibility for an emergency MA license.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS required.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an ED RN.
• Previous experience in at least one travel assignment is preferred.

• CPI training will be provided on-site.
