CT Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using CT technology to support patient care in an acute care setting.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3×12 hour shifts, Nights
• Days: Saturday to Monday
• Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and other related procedures according to established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment proficiently.
• Document and manage patient information accurately.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in CT imaging required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Required certifications:
  • BLS
  • ARRT (R) (CT)
  • SCRQSA (R) (CT)
• Radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency.

Miscellaneous Information

• No floating required between units.
• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Block scheduling is not available.
• Free parking will be provided with a pass distributed at the start date.

Additional Notes

Travelers should note that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. The hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity anticipated in August and September.
