Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This position requires specialized expertise in interventional radiology procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in Interventional Radiology procedures as a scrub and circulator.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices used for pulmonary embolism and stroke treatment.
• Perform angiographic procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Work independently in IR procedure rooms and manage trauma certifications.
• Participate in weekend, day shift, and on-call coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Current CT and IR certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered Technologist (RT) with a valid state Radiology License.
• Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment.
• Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Ability to handle weekend and on-call responsibilities effectively.

Additional Information

Orientation sessions are conducted weekly, allowing for smooth integration into the team and workflow. Candidates are expected to present any time-off requests at the time of submission.
