MRI Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. The successful candidate will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures that ensure patient safety and comfort while obtaining high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety by explaining procedures and addressing any concerns prior to conducting scans.
• Maintain equipment and ensure its proper functioning, reporting any malfunctions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to discuss findings and imaging results.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records related to imaging procedures.
• Adhere to safety and health regulations within the imaging environment.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of clinical experience in MRI required.
• Certification from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) or ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability for 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with potential scheduling between 0630 and 1700, and flexibility for weekend shifts and holidays as needed.

Primary Work Locations

The successful candidate will work at multiple locations within the region.
