CNA / Nurse Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the daily living needs of residents while fostering a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care activities including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Support residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident areas and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with residents and their families, providing updates on care and well-being.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to deliver high-quality care to all residents.

Schedule

This position requires a day shift with five 8-hour shifts from 06:30 to 15:00, including an every other weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing facility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Graduate of an accredited CNA training program.
• Active Wisconsin CNA registry required.
• Must have successfully completed at least one travel assignment.
• No at-fault cancellations in work history.
• No background or license violations accepted.
