Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a critical care environment.

Position Information

• Role: RN
• Specialty: ICU/Step Down
• Number of Openings: Variable
• Shift: 12 hours, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: 36 (every other weekend)
• Call Requirements: Varies based on unit needs
• Years of Experience: 2 years
• Float Requirements: Yes, may float to MSU or other units as needed

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; PALS preferred but not required
• Education: Relevant experience and competencies in ICU and Step Down nursing

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 8
• Patient Ratios: 1 to 2-3
• Equipment: Standard ICU equipment
• EMR: EPIC

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience in ICU and Step Down settings
• Preferred Skillset: Experience with pediatric patients (not required)
• Type of Patients on Unit: ICU and Step Down patients
• Personality Fit: Team-oriented, compassionate, and dedicated to patient care
