Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg Telemetry

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a specialty in Med Surg Telemetry to join our team. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Position Information

• Number of Openings: Varies
• Shifts: 0645-1915, 1845-0715
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Varies
• Call Requirements: 2 12-hour call shifts in a 13-week contract
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years, including travel experience
• Float Requirements: May be required to float to other Med Surg units as needed

Education & Certifications

• Required Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Education Modules: All training will be conducted through the Learning Management System (LMS) and will be consistent for all travelers.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 56
• Patient Ratios:
  • Days: 1 RN to 4-5 patients
  • Nights: 1 RN to 5-6 patients
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic

Hiring Profile

• Must Have Skills/Experience:
  • Med Surg Telemetry experience
  • Active Maine RN License
  • BLS certification
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: ACLS certification
• Type of Patients on Unit: General Med Surg Telemetry
• Personality Fit: Team player, hard-working, accountable
