Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Potential for floating within the scope to meet facility needs, including to West Ashley FSED or Kiawah as necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of general emergency department experience (adult/pediatric)
• Experience with CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) treatment and management
• Epic electronic health record experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be through AHA)
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications required
• Preferred certifications: CPI and NRP
• Must possess a valid South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact State RN License

Additional Information

• Local candidates may be accepted on a case-by-case basis
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission, with approval based on facility needs
• Staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June – November); please consider this when accepting assignments
• Facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift per 2-week period
