Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in a medical-surgical unit with overflow into telemetry, ensuring optimal patient experiences and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and efficient nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
• Monitor and assess patient health, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage and monitor complex cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care delivered.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of nursing experience required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required; pending licenses will be considered.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Proficient in managing drips and able to work within a 1:6 to 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Must have prior experience with intravenous medications and cardiac monitoring.

Shift Information

Day shift available with a schedule of 4×12 hours, from 07:00 to 19:00. Block scheduling may be accommodated.

Additional Requirements

• Must not have been employed in a permanent staff position within the past 10 years.
• Local candidates within a 90-mile radius will not be considered.
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
