Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This position involves working in a high-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care during cardiac procedures.

Shift Details

• Five days a week
• On-call duties required for two nights per week
• On-call duties required for three weekends out of eight
• Holiday call or work as needed

Qualifications

• Current MS Nursing Licensure
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Preferred experience in cardiac care, including:
• Moderate Sedation
• Hemodynamic Monitoring
• Circulating cardiac procedures
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records
• Scrub experience (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab will be responsible for:

• Providing direct patient care during cardiac procedures
• Monitoring patients’ vital signs and hemodynamic status
• Administering medications and sedation as needed
• Coordinating with physicians and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
