Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry to join our dynamic team. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care during the night shift.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Must possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Willingness to obtain the NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification prior to start date.
• One recent reference from a manager, Assistant Nursing Manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty for consideration.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. This includes:

• Monitoring and assessing patient conditions.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care goals.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families.

Orientation and Assessments

During orientation, candidates will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and the safeMedicate assessment. Acceptable scores in both assessments are required for successful completion.
