Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the MS/Tele unit.
• Monitor patient progress and vital signs, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely.
• Participate in patient and family education to promote health and wellness.

Schedule

This position involves night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
• Current and valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• Must hold AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale certification prior to starting the position.
• One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is necessary for qualification. Charge nurse references are accepted.

Additional Information

During orientation, candidates will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment, achieving an acceptable score on both assessments as part of the onboarding process.
