MRI Technologist

Job Overview

The MRI Technologist will perform MRI imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a commitment to high-quality patient care and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Work Schedule

• Option 1: Three 12-hour shifts
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Option 2: Four 10-hour shifts
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) certification required.
• AHA BLS certification is necessary at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care imaging experience in MRI technology.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure functionality.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records in compliance with safety regulations.

Work Environment

The MRI Technologist will work in a fast-paced acute care imaging setting, often collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care.
