Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Orthopedics and Bariatrics, as well as a background in Telemetry nursing. This position involves working in the Surgical Specialty unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Surgical Specialty unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize the Pyxis medication system for efficient medication management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least 1 year of experience using the EPIC electronic health record system.
• Required certifications:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • Active South Carolina RN License
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing required, with 3 years of experience specifically in the MS/Tele specialty necessary for first-time travelers.
• Float to other units or nearby hospitals may be required as needed.

Schedule

This position offers a day shift of 3×12-hour schedules, running from 07:00 to 19:30.
