Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

Dayshift with on-call responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Experience Required

2 years of experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry environment.

Certifications/Requirements

• ACLS
• BLS/BCLS
• PALS

Job Summary

The Med/Surg Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Candidates should have experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry settings, with step-down experience preferred but not mandatory.

Equipment Used

• EMR: Meditech
• Pumps: Alaris
• Medications: Omnicell

Patient Ratios

• Med-Surg/Observation: 1:6
• Step Down: 1:4

Additional Information

• Contracts may be canceled up to three times during the duration.
• On-call opportunities will be offered during periods of low patient census.
