Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role will involve working four 10-hour shifts with shared call for night shifts and weekends, typically including on-call duties one weekend per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct general laboratory tests and procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and arterial blood gas draws as required.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of laboratory specimens.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
• Proven experience in a laboratory setting.
• Strong understanding of laboratory protocols and safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
