Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

Shift Notes: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday. May be required to float and precept as necessary.

Weekend Requirements: None; holidays required as needed.

On Call Requirements: None.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Operating Room (OR) to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of current experience in OR circulation, with a strong focus on endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room.
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, neuro, urology, vascular, and bariatric surgeries.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgeries.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Massachusetts.
• 3+ years of OR Circulate experience is required.
• Endoscopy experience is required.
• Experience in general, orthopedic, neuro, urology, vascular, and bariatric surgical procedures is required.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for travel as necessary.

Certifications

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

Additional Information

This position does not require on-call duties or weekend shifts. Orientation will be non-billable, and all scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application.
