Job Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse working in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), providing care to patients who require monitoring between the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role involves managing vented patients and administering critical medications.

Shift Information

• Shift Type: Nights
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring critical monitoring.
• Effectively manage medication administration and management for critical drips.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 3:1.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar nursing role.
• Required Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS Certification
  • NIHSS

Additional Information

Candidates must reside outside a strict 75-mile radius from the location of the assignment, with the address on the traveler’s driver’s license reflecting this requirement.
