Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position requires a strong clinical background and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Level 2 Trauma Center.
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients with varying acuity levels.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic health record documentation and management.
• Participate in the education and support of patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH (Pending is acceptable).
• Experience with EPIC is mandatory.
• Must meet vaccine requirements, including 2-Step PPD and Flu Vaccine; no exemptions allowed.

Work Environment:

The Emergency Room consists of 54 beds and manages an average of 220 patients daily, making it a highly demanding and fast-paced setting.

Shift Requirements:

This position primarily operates on a Night shift schedule, with 4×12 hours (7 PM to 7 AM). Weekend shifts may be assigned up to a maximum of six weekend shifts within a 6-week scheduling period, including potential assignments on Sundays for night shift team members.
