Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in developing and restoring their functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient and family education regarding therapy and care plans.
• Communicate patient status updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a safe care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
