Birth Center Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Birth Center team. This role requires experience in labor and delivery and a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care for postpartum, gynecological, surgical, and medical overflow patients.
• Provide care for newborns, assisting with breastfeeding and infant nutrition.
• Demonstrate the ability to resuscitate neonates according to Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and high standards of care.
• Participate in holiday coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience is required.
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years is preferred.
• Oregon State RN License is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are necessary.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and national certification in lactation or perinatal care.
• Must possess the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
