Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor and the Cardiopulmonary Manager, the Certified Respiratory Therapist provides patient care activities in critical care settings, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care. This role also involves training other respiratory therapy personnel in these areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and support for patients in critical care environments.
• Administer treatments and therapies while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Train and mentor respiratory therapy staff in critical care practices.

Shift Information

• 12-hour day shifts.
• Rotational weekend requirements.
• Rotational on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience.
• Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) required.
• Active Oklahoma state license required.
• Associate degree in respiratory therapy or equivalent required.
• Certifications in NRP, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) are required.
