Job Description

This position follows a streamlined clinical interview process. Candidates can expect outreach within two hours via phone or text where applicable, with decisions typically made the same day or by the next business day. Applicants requesting more than 7 days off or more than 50% of holidays off, or with negative background or employment history may experience a different processing timeline.

Under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor and the Cardiopulmonary Manager, the Certified Respiratory Therapist provides patient care activities in critical care areas, which include adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care. This role also involves training respiratory therapy personnel in these specialized areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in critical care settings.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of respiratory therapy staff in critical care practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapy (RRT) experience is required.
• Experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is required.
• Active Oklahoma state license is required and must be documented.
• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Current certifications in NRP, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) are required.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated at this time.
• This position does not accept first-time travelers.

Additional Information

All compliance documents must be submitted one week prior to starting. The role requires a rotation for weekend and on-call duties.
