Shift Information

This position is for the night shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of New Mexico or a current compact license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) Certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
• Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification.

Responsibilities

The Emergency Room RN will be responsible for the following:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the emergency setting.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care to patients.
• Utilizing critical thinking skills to make swift decisions in response to patient needs.
• Documenting patient assessments and interventions accurately and timely.
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and families.
