Physical Therapist Assistant

The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide essential therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, adhering to all state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. The primary goal is to assist patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatments accurately.
• Assist in educating patients about their conditions and the prescribed home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and any relevant observations to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance standards to ensure a safe and effective therapy environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state Physical Therapist Assistant license or the ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
